We were appointed to carry out an appraisal of their existing community and office space spread over three properties in the town. We produced a feasibility study with suggestions regarding the rationalisation of their assets.

The Town council in particular were concerned about the condition of the Listed Grade 2* Guild Hall, and we carried out a detailed and costed condition survey of this. We also worked with them to look at ideas as to how the building could be opened up for more public use, and the Town’s history told better. We had preliminary meetings with the NDDC Conservation Officer and Historic England
