The practice was asked to produce a scheme for a Primary Care hub in a vacant Victorian vicarage with a large extension adjacent to their medical centre. The Health hub brought together the GP services together with mental health, paramedical and community services. It also promoted health & wellbeing in a more wholistic way living with a healthy eating café, gym and rooms for voluntary organisations.

It produced a vibrant and exciting vison for 21^st century primary care. The scheme was costed, and a bid was put in for the NHS Transformation fund but unfortunately Ilfracombe was unsuccessful.
