This ward refurbishment within the 1970’s hospital incorporated the additional clinical spaces for the Medical Assessment unit function. The scheme sought to break up the institutional corridor with floor patterns, bright colours and large graphics.

The details of doors, wall protection and wet room detailing was a further refinement in terms of infection control and durability from our previous refurbishment schemes for the Trust.
