The Practice were appointed to deal with the architectural and planning aspects of accommodating new path lab testing equipment. The brief was that the existing laboratory had to be maintained in operation throughout the process, working 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Working with the staff and the equipment supplier we devised a phased plan for the works which upgraded services so that the new equipment could be running as soon as installed.

Survey and removal of asbestos was part of the works as well as upgrading fire compliance and infection control standards of finishes. The lab successfully continued in operation throughout the contract.
